Very impressive Jeff. The SW corner of Cantref Res is in Greater Glamorgan - did it fly into our little zone?
Of course it did Jake,it spent most of it's time at the south end of the reservoir !
In fact both of the scrapping Ospreys took place on the shore next to the fishermans hut in the s western corner.
Are you both going to submit it officially for Eastern Glamorgan - no notes required, just site, date & times & behaviour etc.
Cheers J.
Will do.
It truly is a quality shot and nice to get such a great action shot so close to home. After many years of chasing this shot I'm glad you got your rewards. Very nicely done.
Jake,i was talking to a reliable Angler this morning who said he had an Osprey fly over Castle Coch heading north on good friday.
Hi Jake,I'll certainly put a record in,I like probably lots of others thought that only Llwyn-on was in Glamorgan until I looked closely at an OS map,as you say we do have a tiny corner of Cantref.
Cheers Mark, set out early with Wayne M to look for Ring Ouzels and ended up having one of those incredible days that you remember forever !
