Kumlien's Gull at Jackstones Pier, Aberavon

© G. Jones
Gareth Jones has very kindly sent some record shots of the ad Kumlien's Gull that he saw at Jackstones Pier, this afternoon (13:38). Very nice record and shown off with a bit of style.

What cracking wing tips!

Found by Clive Hurford, who got the photographers onto it. Pity we all missed this from the prom.

Thanks for clarifying that Phil. I've corrected the text accordingly. In fairness to Gareth he did get back to me that a 'silver-haired chap who was very knowledgable' had 'called it first.' I didn't immediately think of Clive but now I'll know better the next time I receive a description like that.

So which part of this description was causing you difficulties Mark?

I know, it should have been obvious. Certainly a statement like 'I don't twitch much anymore', heard only in the field recently, caused me some uncertainty.
