Lesser Scaup Cardiff Bay Wetland Reserve

Drake lesser scaup found this afternoon around 4.30pm. It seems to have arrived with a small flock of tufties fresh in. Wonder where it's been?

Nice one Gareth. It is interesting to think about where this bird goes for the rest of the year. Up to no good I should imagine, reinforcing the 'problem duck' population at a quiet summer retreat further north?
