Water Pipits

At least two Water Pipits were seen on the very high tide this am at Sluice Farm (Gwent) [PB & RP] and another was seen feeding with meadow pipits & pied wagtails on flotsam along the base of the seawall 400yds past the county boundary (RGW, Cardiff).

Sorry if I caused any confusion but I didn't see the Water Pipits seen earlier by RP, though did see a Rock Pipit which RP saw too.
In my humble experience 5+ Water Pipits is an extremely unusual count locally this early in the autumn, so well done Anonymous. I'm sure the County Recorder will look forward to your report.
