Black-headed Bunting update

After moving on from Glamorgan on the 17th, during it's stay in Carmarthenshire (18th-24th June), these shots were taken by Gary Harper, showing the throat markings much clearer.

Barry, this individual is sporting a black throat. My experience with BHB and looking through numerous birding literature, nowhere does it mention or show BHB with a black throat. I have even gone through a lot of images on the net and the only one showing a black throat is ours!
Are we looking at an individual with a plumage aberration or is there some hybridization along the way with this particular bird?

Dave, Neil Tovey has seen this feature on this species in India.

Jake - BWP states they can have a wholly a black throat so no worries there and it looks spot on as far as I can see. I know Birding World want to do an article on this bird and have been in touch with Gary, so hopefully more facts on this poorly documented form will come to light.
