With all of these good birds you keep finding you must have pretty tidy list for 2011. Have you counted it up yet?

Damn. should have gone for year list this year....would have passed it by now. Twice as many rarities this year than last year already...lol...seriously well done mark...think its time for a Dusky Warbler now.

Thanks both. It's been really enjoyable birding beyond NPT this year. I'm not sure what my Glam list is for this year but as soon as I decided, back in spring, to have that period volunteering on Skokholm I also decide not to list the county. As it turned out I didn't miss much while I was away. I doubt I'm even past 200 at this stage. Lots of getable stuff missing including lots of seabirds, whinchat, yellow wagtail, Turtle Dove to name but a few. I've not really found anything of special note. All the really good stuff has been found by others. There is a good birding scene happening locally at the moment and it's great being part of it. Let the good times roll!

Mark, We shall have to call you Mr. News. Well done.
As you say Martyn, 2011 was the 'year'. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
