If the bird at Blagdon is the same individual it will be back over here no doubt, though we may need to wait a while, I gather it is in eclipse and every chance it is currently flightless. Up until its disappearance from the Bay the bird had been seen courting female Tufted, indeed it was trying its luck with one when I saw it at Llanishen Res in May.
